E4OD OD sprag

Hi

I'm working on 1994 Bronco's E4OD 4WD.
There is updated 1995 12-roller 4" OD sprag trouble.
I bought new sprag and can't find out how to install.
Physically I can install it by two ways.
Which it correct?

Thanks!

The inner sprag race should turn counter clockwise, so the first picture is correct.

However you wont be able to get your coast clutch drum in assembling it like that, that drum will have to spline two sets of clutches the inner sprag race and the sun gear.

The best way is to take everything out of the case all the way down to the center support. Assemble everything onto the coast clutch drum and install it as one piece then install the overdrive clutches and pump.

Thank you for the help!
I'll check rotation tomorrow.

I know about assembly order, according the ATSG manual.
I removed coast clutch to make a pictures.
