I need some help with my 88 F250.I had a fire in the engine compartment and fried all the wiring that goes to the injectors and the sensors.I have most of the wiring done but I'm having a problem with the plug that comes from the coil. There is a 22K ohm resistor with the typical green and yellow wires but there are also a purple/yellow and a red/white coming out of it.No diagram that I have read shows this color combination.Does anyone have a clue as to where these wires go.Does anyone know where I can get a specific wiring diagram for my truck other than the Chilton and Haynes manuals. Thanks Ron
Have no clue about your wiring question, but you can get good wiring diagrams at this link: www.helminc.com
They are the same manuals, they use in the ford service department.
goodluck!
