Thanks Number Dummy for the wonderful help.. I know who to call on from now on when I need a part number! I had no idea the back door was different.

I believe I said the PO of my Town Car used PVC,, I believe it was PEX.. NOT PVC.. It is not in my yard right now but I will check it and see how much ware they have on them in a couple of days and report back to you... The RT front door is just slightly out of adjustment and needs to be raised just a hair. I tried adjusting the striker and it still lacked that little bit. The dash has to come out to get to the top hinge bolts and so I just left it, you just have to close it a bit harder then the rest..

OK the point being,, when closing the door the door lock hits the striker fairly good to pull the door up in place... That should give us a good idea of how well the PEX holds up..

BTW I would draw a line around the striker plate or washer on the door jam so you can put it back in the same place then adjust it from there if need be..
