I didn't like the ugly warning labels on my sun visors. Looked at peeling them off, but they looked "painted" or screen printed on.
Rather than risk damaging the visors, I had a guy cut me some matte black vinyl rectangles and just covered the labels. Not an exact color match, but blends in well enough and looks 1000X better than the labels.
I removed the visors to make laying the vinyl easier. This was the hardest part of the whole project. The plugs for the visor wiring are behind the headliner. The plugs are glued/taped down to the headliner. I was able to gently pull the driver side plug loose and out where I could unplug it. The passenger side plug and wiring wouldn't move. I had to remove the grab bar and pull the headliner down to peel the plug off. After that it was easy.
If anyone complains, you can say the info is tattooed on your chest, and if they really want to read it, you can drive them around with your shirt off.
