It wouldn't be unusual that your transmission shop broke the lock off the connector to the solenoid pack, and the jarring the truck took when running into the curb was the final straw in shaking the connector loose.
Trans is a 4R100. Not able to read codes. Normally if threre is a trans issue, the O/D light flashes. The trans level is full

The "main" plug is on the passenger side toward the rear of the tranny. Right next to the exhaust pipe and the fluid return line. It is a little tough to get your hand in there...
Even if the plug came off completely it can't do this. Either the transfer case (jf it is a 4x4) shifted to neutral, or the transfer case broke, or the trans broke.
If you start the engine and out the trans in D, then park, do you get a ratcheting/grinding noise?
