I have a 1975 Highboy with a drivers side saddle tank to compliment the stock behind the seat tank
Side tank is aftermarket and works fine, BUT was installed using the typical 10 inch access door that was common back then, unfortunately for me I think that access door looks like crap.
I have already picked up a bedside patch panel to replace the giant square door cut out. I'd like to utilize a stock fuel cap(not the later year flush fit fuel door)
coming out the bedside.
Any suggestions where I could locate the correct fuel filler neck/cap combo?
What years pickup or early bronco would have the right neck/cap?
Thanks in advance.

Im in the same boat,I called tabco and asked about the patch and early year gas fill,,,left message ,they didnt get back...I have to call them during business hours.....They used to have the rear early years gas patch on web site.If I find out Ill let you know.
1967/76 factory installed mid-ship and 1973/76 aft axle fuel tank fuel filler tubes, fuel caps are exposed. 1977/79's are behind fuel doors.
Aftermarket tank fuel filler tubes, filler caps are usually located behind doors that are riveted to the bed sides.
1967/74's with factory installed auxiliary tanks have a manually operated fuel tank selector valve located on the floor adjacent to the drivers side of the seat. A selector switch changes the dash fuel gauge from one tank to the other.
1975/79 factory installed auxiliary tanks have a fuel tank selector valve and solenoid assy. The selector switch changes the tanks and the dash fuel gauge from one tank to the other.
NumberDummy,
Do you have a pn available for the 73 to 76 mid-ship fuel filler tube and cap?
That will give me a good start if any are available still? Then all I have to do is marry it up to the tank fill port; already have the patch.
Thanks

With or without Evaporative Emission? Evaporative Emission: Unleaded fuel, non vented fuel cap.
Davewild,
That what I plan to do once I locate the correct filler tube.
Was the sheet metal recessed/dimpled or was it just a round hole you had to drill there?
Thanks,
Tbruz
