Dtc 0683??

Have had DTC 0683 (Glow Plug Ctrl Mod to PCM comm circuit)pop up twice while starting my 2000, 7.3 deisel. Read it on my 1705 microtuner DTC Reader. It first showed up (service engine soon) 3weeks ago. I cleared it and it popped up again this morning. Anyone know what this means and what fix might be??
