Please Help Me
Hi Guys. I'm an old fan but a brand new member to your site. I hope to get help with a certain pesky problem that my vehicle is suffering. I have an 1997 E-350 7.3 diesel that suddenly lost acceleration power and the turbo never activates. The vehicle does not stall nor are there any issues with starting the vehicle. Since I am in Puerto Rico cold weather is not a factor. The vehicle runs fine except for the acceleration issue. On a flat surface the vehicle will slowly get upto 70 mph but on a hill will barely do 25 mph. Have had the vehicle scanned and no codes appear nor does the SES light come on. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it electrical, mechanical or what? any ideas?

You should ask in the power stroke section, this is the pre power stroke idi section. It will also help if you title your thread something like poor acceleration or some other brief description of your problem.
