Well the shipping company lost the order but i have been refunded. Im goung to be oicking up a mitsubishi unit today that says its got real copper windings in it and that its the same as the one i pulled out,
Hopefully ill get it installed tonight and well see what happens..
I got a call from the delivery company today saying the starter will be in tomorrow, werher it shows up or not who knows. I got the mitsubishi starter today and now i am wondering...
If the db eletric starter comes in tomorrow, what woukd be the better one to install and what woukd be better to keep as a spare? Basically, which is the better starter?
Well i think in going to install the mitsubishi starter and keep the db as a spare since the db looks to be a bit shorter and will be easier to install in a hurry if i ever need to. Ill keep u guys updated as to if my truck starts or not when i install the starter
So installed the new starter and hooked it all up, whent to start and just got a click again. I tightened up all the connections and voila she was turnin over very nicely and fired up in about five seconds with no gps. Nice to hear the old girl running again! And the smell of it too! lol
Now one thing i noticed was my passenger side round cable was very corroded at the connection at the block so ill replace both this weekend. (I did all the positive cables ubder a year ago.
