I'll see what I can get put together tomorrow when my parts dept opens back up. Should be fairly painless, but I'm always shocked by Fords part pricing.
You aren't from PA are you? I have a customer who is asking me about wheel spacing just last week!
I actually use tire rack for this one, as the Ford Parts computers don't really care about swapping rims. Tire Rack shows a 5-108 pattern with 45mm offset, which is the same it shows for the Taurus (well similar offests, and to be fair, I'm not positive of the factory offest, but a few mm won't make a big difference). I'm not a tire/rim expert, but from what I see it should be good to go.
Also FYI for anyone else tuning in, to get part numbers of cars similar to yours try to find a VIN of a car that has the pieces you want. If you find a patient parts guy they can cross shop the list of parts with the ones from your VIN and determine whats missing to some degree (computers can get a bit hairy). I say patient, because for every 10 parts questions like this I ask, we get 1 sale if we are really lucky. But that's my method! I'll try and find the console answer tomorrow though.
I didn't get pricing, as I mentioned it would get ugly when you add up all the bits and pieces. Tasca Ford (I think they are a supporter here) seems to have some of the best pricing online for Ford parts.
As for the warranty the guide that comes with the car is pretty gray. As a general rule you can make modifications, but if they can link those modifications back to the failure than you're SOL. For stock vehicles there typically aren't questions raised. When you modify the weight ratios of the vehicle you can kiss suspension warranty goodbye. If you hit the exhaust with a hammer to clear something that could void the motor in the right perspective. Different wheels could affect the braking systems cooling design. I know from the practical perspective it's hogwash, but in a court of law the argument can be made and I can't afford a lawyer good enough to say otherwise. Generally if I'm modifying a vehicle I presume I am voiding the warranty as part of the cost I calculate, but that doesn't mean I won't ask to have it submitted for a claim and give it a try, I just won't expect a good result.
