Is the frame mounted bar interchangable with the one i have now?

Not sure how it is mounted and compare the two frames to see if it is a direct swap

I'd say that depends on your driving style. I took my front sway bar off so the TTB would have an easier time flexing off road, and rode around with just the rear for over a year. Never came close to laying the truck over, but I don't drive it like a sports car either. YMMV and if you're unsure about it at all then just take Conanski's advice and either fix the front or remove them both.

I eventually took the rear one off too because the links hang down so much and the bushings were starting to go as well. There is more body roll but nothing bad and that is with shocks that have almost 300k miles on them. They need replaced but I keep putting it off because I want to lift my truck and don't want to buy new shocks only to have to replace them in a year or so.

The bar and links are the same on both but the mounts are different. You would need to find the frame type mount

Ignore the lower part. It has a drop bracket for the 6" lift

Too bad you aren't closer...

I just removed mine on my lunch hour both rear and front. Honestly i dont feel any difference around corners or anything. I dont drive mine like a sports car either. Now i just gotta replace coil springs and shocks all around. And like i said before my 86 didnt have front or rear sway bars and it rode better than this one but then again it had new shocks from the PO. Now i got more scrap metal lol

i always took the sway bars off my trucks in the past, but by the time I did that they weren't so much trucks as they were toys.. I thought the coil sprung TTB actually worked better on the street without the sway bar. Even though there was more body roll, the tires were actually allowed to move.

I also drove for years spooled on the street and had fun with that too.

Neither of which I'd be considering if the truck is actually used as a truck; put to work towing and hauling.
