Gauge problems

i bought this 87 ford f-150 and the battery amp stays on 0 and the the fuel gauge stays of full and when you turn the key moves fuller past full. i had the fuel gauge problem on here before and got some really go information on how to fix it. but i was wondering if the two problems could be connected some how and if anyone can offer me some instructions on how to fix this issue. Does your wiring under the dash look factory or has someone previously been in there and spliced the wiring?

A faulty ground connection can drive you crazy.

88XLTlariat it looks factory, and tankguy people keep telling about it might be the ground wire but where is the ground wire located?? i cant find it to save my life
