help 1997
Have a 1997 f250 powerstroke deslie pickup two days ago that abslight and brake light came on. Stop truck turned it off and tryed to reset computer did not work. This am went to work hit the brakes and pedal almost went to floor like no brakes. What went wrong or what is broke I can fix? The truck only has 160,00 miles any help please.

The abs light coming on alone, won't affect the ability to stop the truck. It just won't allow the abs system to work when on slippery roads, etc.
It sounds like the master cylinder could be bad. If the center piece, regulating between the front and rears move, that light will come on. Your vacuum booster hose might be leaking, which will help make it feels like it's not braking properly but the light won't come on for that.
Check your fluid level first, bleed the system second, and potentially replace the MC if still not working properly.
You might have to ultimately changeout your abs sensors but, again, that won't keep your truck from stopping.
