I just purchased a 95 Ranger XL 2wd (96000 miles). I love the truck. I added a tiny bit of brake fluid to the MC and now the abs light stays on! When I start it if I have my foot on the brake it will turn off but as soon as I take my foot off the brake pedal it comes on and stays on. The brakes seem to be working fine. I pushed the little round float in the MC with my finger and it doesn't seem stuck. I have only had the truck a week and already a problem.
Please help
Check to make sure you have the proper level of fluid in it. Also, pull and check your back brakes still have good pad. If you flip down the page you'll see some other possibilities and how to fix them.
Check electrical connectors for the RABS components and the level sensor, look for sticking level float. If you still have the problem you should pull the code, if you need the procedure email me, I will be gone until 9/26.

If you mean pull the code send me an email, I have to attach a document and you can't do that with the email system here. Also include the problems that you are having.
