Ashland to split into 2 publically traded companies, so the automotive division Valvolene will go its separate way. Ashland Inc. announces plan to separate into two independent, publicly traded companies (NYSE:ASH) will be interesting to see how this will pan out for their automotive customers, so product quality will be watched closely by a lot of boards.

 

Ever since getting into Ford's modular motor ownership I've been using Valvoline synth blend motor oil----this will be an interesting change and hoping it doesn't affect that brand of a long time great product.
