Oil looks OK but slightly above the full mark... Maybe 1/4 inch. Could attribute that to overfilled.

Coolant is low again in the smaller resevoir several inches below the fill range.

Top off the coolant (I use the Ford brand red coolant) when cold and monitor.

"I don't understand why people don't check their fluids anymore."

I plead guilty! I no longer check the fluids nor tire pressures, why? Because I am lazy AND trusting that todays vehicles are significantly better than ever.
Yes I may one day regret it but after many years of not needing to add any oil I've quite checking it completely. And TPMS watches over my tires.
So shoot me if you must.

PS, I do check it AFTER an oil change.

At the dealer where I bought the truck. They are pressure testing the cooling system.

Service tech commented they have purposely been under filling engine oil in these trucks to compensate for oil level rising due to fuel dilution. Seems not so comforting.

For at least a few years, the Ford computer program showed 15 quart for the 13 quart engines. I am not sure they still got it right, maybe each dealer updates when he fells like it.

Those dipsticks are a pain to get an accurate reading. I pull mine and let it sit overnight and then check it once. After dragging oil up the tube a second reading may be wrong.

If you think that the engine is "making oil", send a sample to Blackstone Labs so that you know what is really going on.

Your service tech must be stuck in the 6.4 days. These 6.7's don't dilute the oil near as bad as the 6.4's did. When I drain my oil I get ~13 quarts out.

Also coolant level check's should be done when the fluid is at ambient temperature.

My 6.4 didn't make oil. My 6.7 doesn't either.

Both I put the factory recommended amount in.

I have the cable dipstick for my 6.7. I reads very well.

Keep us updated Tom! I'm very curious to see how this works out, but the good news is the new Ecoboost 3.5 has PFI along with GDI, so we won't have oil dilution problems in the future.

I had 7 percent fuel in oil in my last 6.7 and I can tell you that the Vegas dealers didn't want to try and help me figure out where it was coming from on a truck with less than 10k miles on it....

Let's hope you just overfilled it or maybe didn't get all of the old oil out of the engine.
