P21AB

I searched but their is very little regarding P21AB. Check engine light came on last week so I read code with my OBD hence 21AB, removed code but shortly after it returned. Went to local dealer (Phil Long) and was told by Tech that one of three sensors is bad, Quote- all three sensors work simultaneously and when one goes bad you get P21AB and truck could go into limp mode. Dealership charged me $100.00 for diagnostic test, said it's normally $147.00 and it's not covered by warranty and the repair would cost $805.00 with tax. I read somewhere on this forum that Ford had extended some type of warranty regarding DEF sensors (EGT) so I rummaged thru my Ford paper work and found the CSP 15M01. Called service Manager and he said it's the level 2 sensor inside the DEF tank which he said was the reductant Tank Sender and that this is not covered by 15M01. My question to those who have experienced this code is what did you do? Would like to know if this is something I could do or send to a independent shop.

Thanks
Tomkin
