Yeah, I can imagine they wouldn't be happy about the straight pipes. Back in the late 90's when I was single and lived in an apartment, I used my '79 Bronco as a daily driver. I decided to have a shop install dual exhaust. I used my buddies new mustang as a gauge to pick mufflers. He had flowmaster 40's and it wasn't too loud so I picked those. I didn't account for his catalytic converters reducing exhaust noise. When I picked up my Bronco, it sounded like a log truck! I was on drill sergeant duty at the time, and usually left for work before 0430 every morning. I was very popular!
