Marketing: Let's not obscure the blue oval. Push it down into the air affects.
Classic dentside pickup: What's air effects, precious?
Everyone else: *facepalm*
If that Superduty has Ford's version of adaptive/radar cruise, the sensor is probably behind that oval. Covering it up will stop the cruise from working and set all sorts of codes. It does on Toyotas anyway.
We use to use a 76 Nova hood (it was giant to us) and put some of those seats on some 3/4 plywood then bolted that to the hood. Stiffened up the hood and gave us something to hold on to. Those Subru seat Oh shi%$ handles are awesome! And low profile seats work way better than belows example.
Rich, Amanda and I already discussed that. I've got two short back bucket seats that she wanted me to weld onto the hood. We didn't have time though, and I really wasn't keen on building a project like that outside in 20 degree weather. Maybe next year.
Right now I'm just sick, thinking about all the work ahead of me over the next several weeks. Months probably. This place is bigger than most cities, and has nearly100 miles of woods roads. After last night's ice storm, all the roads are covered with downed trees. It'll take me a day just to cut my way to the county road. The county road will be impassable for a few days. I'm still drinking coffee right now, because trees are still falling and I don't care to be crushed while operating a chainsaw. It looks like the Ardennes forest in 1917. It'll take weeks just to punch a narrow path down the roads. Months to totally clear. But we're alive, generator is keeping us warm, and I shouldn't complain. Bring on tornado, and hurricane seasons! Woo Hoo!

Well dang Mike....
I hate to hear you are pinned back in the woods. It sure sounds like the trees took a severe hit out your way.
A dozer would make quick work of those trees but I think I would rather cut and throw them out of the way....Looks better that way.
We've got four "cutters" on the place now. But it's too soggy to move them. Besides, they're for cutting trees down. Unfortunately, mine are already down.
But I had a fun time today. Very little chainsaw work, mostly pushing snow and downed trees with the tractor/loader. Nice warm enclosed cab kinda made it hard to complain. But if you like, I'll do it anyway.
