So I lost brake pressure this morning. Pretty sure this rusted steel line is the culprit (pictures are of either end) that runs just passenger side of center along the frame rail, through a flange (first pic), bends 90 degrees and then screws into an adapter at another flange (second pic).
My question is this: In the first pic it looks like the "rigid" steel line meets a flex line just after that flange/holder.Are these two separate lines? If so, how are joined? Do I have to replace the entire line from the master cylinder back? Or is there a way to join a new piece of steel line to that "flex" line?
