A couple of my brake lines are rusted out, I noticed the one that runs from one front caliper to the other and in front of the oil pan, should be replaced. It looks as if it isnt a normal line, almost looks flexible. So my question is can I just buy a regular 3/16 line and bend it?
I think what you are seeing on that one line is just a wire winding for protection of the line itself. And of course you can make your own line if you have the tools and patients. Are you seeing any leaks? Also, you might check powerstrokeshop dot com, they may have the lines pre bent. Hope that helps.
