rear window install
i am working on a 96 ranger with extended cab and the rear window that was in it was a slider with the center section missing,talk about cold in the winter, i got a rear window out of a 94 but it was a regular cab i know about the little bolts to take the window out but what is the black gooy stuff to seal it and how do i get it off and what can i use for a sustitute. it is probably written in a forum somewhere i just can't find it. good thing the window only cost 9.00 bucks.

Been there, done that twice. It pays off to use the M6. It should last a lot longer than regular butyl tape.
