Shifter handles vibration
1988 f150 4x4 302 with a M5OD manual trans.
I have 31" mud grips on the truck with no lift on the truck.
When I get to about 65 mph the shifter vibrates pretty strong and the transfer case shift vibrates even worse. It only happens at higher speed so its not an RPM issue.

I would check the u-joints and also look for play where the driveshaft slides into the back of the transfer case. Mine has some play there and I think that's where my vibration at 70 comes from.

On mine its got a slight vibration but nothing I can't live with, the only time I have ever worried about the vibration was at stupidly high speeds and my only reason for concern was that I had no desire to see a drive-shaft eject from my truck that day. But like the others said it could be an imbalance that needs correction or U-joint issues.
