Recently I had my engine rebuilt, and it ran good for about a week, then the starter solenoid had to be replaced. It was fine again for a few days then the ignition module had to be replaced. Then, after only a few more days, I began having trouble with the starter (only a starter motor whine when trying to start engine). I wondering if there might be a common problem for the solenoid/module/starter acting up within the same week.
Sure,
Yesterday I got the starter motor whine, but today it turned over but no fire. The module I bought was a used one, so I bought a new one tonight and it started. But I don't trust that this will last long. Two days ago the engine went dead (while driving) 13 times. It would start after each time, but it was hard to start. I bought the starter solenoid about 5 days ago after I only got a clicking noice when trying to start.
