I converted the parking lights to dual filament bulbs and removed the fender mounted signals. While they have a nice look, the are IN THE WAY for anything under the hood. Your call. Pre-change:
Pro49Ford,
You could convert your stock parking lights to double filament bulbs and make them turn signals. The bulb sockets are just pressed in and can easily be pushed out. Then replace them with these.
They SHOULD fit. I haven't done mine yet and was planning on using these. They take a standard 1157 double filament bulb with staggered pins. You can use an amber bulb is you like.
This is simpler and cleaner especially if you want to keep the fenders free of obstructions.
Mine didn't come with them. I found some used Sigal-Stats at a wrecking yard and put them far enough forward that you can still work under the hood. I like them because they're more visible to other drivers - from the front and the rear. It's harder to get lenses for them now, but did find some on eBay recently for $2 a piece.
