I have a question about my 4x4 on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. My 4x4 won't engage. The 4x4 high or 4x4 low lights don't come on when I start the truck and when I turn it to High or Low I hear a multiple clicking coming from the 4x4 control shift module on the passenger side kick panel. The lights for the high or low don't come on either when I turn the **** to high or low. I put it In 4 low and unplug the shift module on the kick panel and and it locks it self in 4 low until I plug the module back in and put it back to 2wd but the 4 low light won't come on to let me know it's in 4 low. I'm pretty sure the motor that sits on the transfer case is good so I don't think it's that. Does anyone else have any idea what it could be?
