My wife's '13 King Ranch has that WWII Version 1.0 GPS/radio etc. I've plugged a couple thumb drives with music into the USB located in the center console. The system sees them but says something to the effect of wrong format. What is it looking for?
I should say when I called the sync number in the manual with a different question when it was new, the lady was confused as she was telling me to look for things that didn't exist on this unit. Finally figured out it was not the system she had information on. So does anyone know what model it is, and is it common or not? Any map updates available? Cost? Thanks.
It might be referring to the file format on the thumb drive. If it was formatted with NTFS you might have to reformat it to FAT32 for the head unit to be able to read it.

It's been a while, but I believe I tried two common formats. Thanks, I'll follow your advice and see what happens.
I've read there new unit is pretty good. Doubt we'll buy a new one just to find out, though.
