If you know anyone with the slightest fab skills at all it wouldn't be a problem modifying existing pedals to fit your diminutive stature.

I resemble that remark... in fact, both of them!

On another post I saw the the 60-40 sit seats all the way up to 96 would fit as long as you use the tracks off the original truck. That may be the road I take, so to speak. I had a 96 with split seats that I was able to drive with passengers sitting comfortably because I could move my seat forward separately. I'm excited for this project. I'm in NC so there are quite a few trucks available to find. Treasures galore!

Hah! Me too! I am, as they say, vertically challenged but love big trucks. It's been long enough being in a small car (2000 Ford Focus) that I need a truck again to settle my craving for something more. Power and size matter!

Or with some work you could a Bronco split back or a SC split back seat bottom into separate seats and then add separate sliders....and there you go.

I would just get a 60/40 with a flip down arm rest from the JY or dealership and mod it in. Yes up to a 96 will bolt in using the older slider tracks and bottom seat frame.

Get a shorter boyfriend and slide the seat up.

:-)
Just kidding of course. Lokar makes a cable operated throttle pedal. Technically you could mount it on the dashboard if you wanted to, so I don't see an issue putting something behind it, or moving it toward you a little.
On another unrelated note, due to floor shifters and the like, my seat is all the way back. My 5ft 2inch wife drives my truck just fine. My daughter is 5 ft and she can drive it as well (we go for test rides on private roads as she is 15). that being the case, I don't think it would take much to get you where you need to be... a little pedal adjustment, slide the seat up a notch or two.... whatever, it's an old Ford, if you aren't willing to make a few adjustments here and there, it's going to be VERY hard to own one of these trucks.

Lol he's a great guy, so I'll find a way to modify it to make it work. The split seats are sounding ideal and I could probably find a 96 or older at a junkyard to put in it when I find the one. This truck is a dream of mine that I've been planning for a while and I'm getting ready to make it happen, so I want to try to price everything so I know approximately how much I'll need. When I was searching last time I found a 93 but I had to move the bench seat so far forward that it was a tight fit for him. Plus both my kids are gonna be tall, so I'm thinking ahead as well. I knew there had to be a way to make it work since I had the 96 F150 and drove it just fine. It just took a little thinking back to remember the split seats.

2x.. I like full size trucks. The only thing I miss is being able to lean over to the other side to roll down the window or pull the lock.

I just put 70 Mach 1 seats in my 70 F100... it's got upgraded foams so the buns are much thicker. Reaching the pedals is fine but getting under the steering wheel with thick thighs is a lil tight.

Oh I love the way that looks!! It's absolutely gorgeous.

I'm a huge fan of full sized trucks also. Always have been and always will be. Working at a truck dealership is torture when I get in my car at the end of the day

I just made brackets for my truck that do what you want. I have bench/bucket combo seats, the middle stays put but each seat has its own independent sliders. All three are mounted to a frame that bolts into the truck. I took the mounts for the bracket off and put the original sliders from my Scab under it. Now I can slide the whole unit as one or each seat individually. Works great in the scab as it gives me more forward slide to get things in the back. I'll try to get some pix.

I dont know if the driver in that pic is 5'2", but I am guessing it is close.

I agree, bucket seats would be the way to go.

Those Mach 1 seats are a perfect touch Hio, blows away the Bimmer seats I saw at a buddies place. Guess I'm going to have to go home and steal Grampa's 1921 Singer and start stitching up a set for myself. Dear old mommie dearest can't sew worth a damn and besides, I was supposed to be the family shoe maker.

Only suggestion I have is a split bench or that throttle lock idea, really like the throttle lock. Look in the cabs of large trucks at the jy and I'm sure you'll find one.
