How did you enable the checkbox? Did you just do the plain english option in Forscan or did you do it changing the HEX values as described in the spreadsheet? The plain english version doesn't work. You have to do it HEX. If that doesn't work, I doubt the dealer will know how to help you enable it.

The dealer performed both the settings screen (autogen) and DPF filter % screen.
That could be the problem. They enabled the box to be seen like the plain English Forscan option does but you need further hex changes with Forscan to actually be able to use the box.

OK, thanks. I guess I'll have to dive into ForScan now LOL
Old thread but did this yesterday on my 2020 250. Plain English IPC enable auto regeneration. PCM click 3rd checkbox for regeneration which inhibits auto regeneration. I kept on trying to enable manual regeneration in IPC and it wouldn’t write. Then I noticed it was the auto regeneration option.
OCR will work from the dash display if the vehicle is stationary and the filter is full. Otherwise, you activate the cleaning function with an external device like Forscan.
on 2019 there is no “FORD “ pop up or select display operator command regen.
over the years they drop menu items to make room for others…cpu space is limited.
on my 2019 if I use forscan to enable operator commanded regen…..my forward camera generates @need calibration errors. If I run the calibration procedure the results don’t save. If I remove operator commanded regen…camera works fine and no errors.
I have a 2018 KR. When my truck was in predelivery, I asked my service manager to activate the DPF screen and OCR. Since new, if my filter is full, I have an option to activate a stationary regeneration cycle from my dash.
I have since used Forscan to configure auto or manual regen. Now, selecting manual regen (auto off) stops filter cleaning activity. Activating auto regen leads to two conditions. 1) regen will start if elapsed mileage is greater than 500 miles--but no regen can be initiated from the dash if the vehicle is stationary. 2) regen will start if the filter is at full capacity--this is automatic if I am driving, or it can be selected manually from the dash if I am stationary.
I have also run regen before 500 miles and before the filter was full by engaging the Forscan directly.
I don't think I'll ever use the OCR option on my iDash. While I admit it's nice to have the option, I believe it's more useful for someone who does more stop and go driving, and who doesn't allow active regens to finish so they could do an OCR to unplug a partially plugged DPF due to driving conditions. To me, doing a regen while driving is optimal because you have fresh air being pulled into the engine compartment and over the exhaust components to keep them cooler as the truck is moving rather than doing one with truck stationary. I'm no expert. That's just my opinion.
