I have a 2019 XLT, and want to know if this can be programmed either through ForScan on my own or have the dealer perform the update.
You can turn on the Exhaust Filter screen with FORScan which may or may not give you OCR. As stated above, if you have the center IPC display type 2, you most likely will not have the ability to do a manual regen. Check your owner's manual for your display type.
Read the FORSCan thread on how to turn on Exhaust Filter screen.
I have the DPF % screen turned on and used FORScan to do it. I have yet to see the option to perform the OCR. I think that's a different feature that has to be turned on.

Correct Jim. The DPF % screen and OCR are separate options to enable with Forscan. OCR is titled "enable autoregen checkbox" in the spreadsheet.
I've tried multiple times to turn on the OCR in Forescan with the bluetooth adaptor and a wired adaptor. Everytime I go to "write" it gets to about 40 or 50% and then it immediately drops connection. EVERY TIME. I've read that the 2020s have that locked down and the dealer has to do it. I'm going to ask my dealer if they will turn it on the next time I'm in for service or I have an issue with regens.

While my truck was in for the recalls, warranty and PM, I had them enable the DPF screen and what I thought was OCR. Now under settings, the check mark is next to the label "autoregen".
I've tried to uncheck the box, but nothing.........

What am I missing?
You uncheck the box to start. Then when the DPF screen shows "Full" and the vehicle is in park, there will be an option on that same DPF % screen that says to Hold "OK" to initiate a manual/stationary regen. I can't remember the exact wording but it will appear on the bottom of the DPF % screen when it's full and the autoregen box is not ticked.
Yes, I read something about it in the last page or two there.... That said, other than trying it to see if it works, I have never used it and don't intend to ever use it in the future either...
Oops... Sorry. I didn't realize that's all it was. Give it time. 2020 will all be there soon. This happens to some extent with every new model year and this year is a little more with the refresh.

OK, Does this mean I can only uncheck the box when the DPF screen shows full and I'm in park?
OK, got that and that's what I thought. But no matter what, I can't uncheck the autogen box in the settings section. Does the dealer need to do something else in the programming?
