I'm not complaining. Have a February build '05. I just installed the River City EGR bypass and expected that there would be a code. I did not pull the EGR valve. Am I just lucky. Guess I should pull the EGR and clean just to see how much fun it is but figured that it's harmless now with the delete. No real noticeable change in the way the truck runs either.
Slightly confused here. You did a EGR Cooler bypass? EGR valve itself is still inplace?
Or am I missreading something?
Okay, EGR delete. Sorry for the confusion. Is the EGR valve normally just left in place or is it necessary to pull the valve and install the block off plate?
Either way, block off plate with EGr valve on top plugged in, or in the intake with it plugged in. You have to use a tuner to properly delete the EGR or the computer won't run the fan properly and other things.

No tuner is necessary if you leave the valve plugged in. The tuner is only needed to turn off the CEL.
