Ign Sw or A/C

Ok here is the Problem.........

89 Aerostar.

Start it but have to back the Ign-Switch back to get the A/C fan to come on.

Also to make the Turn signals work. Seems like some Play.

Does/Has anyone had this problem & what Needs to be Replace or can be fixed/Tightened?

Is it in the column or a switch or Spring?????????????

I never did understand the connection but I had problems like that when the brushes wore out in my blower motor and I had to replace it. After that, all was well again.

sounds like a worn ignition switch. It is obvious because the fan or the turn signals will not come on without the ignition switch being in the RUN or in the ACCESSORY position.

you can get ignition switch replacements on eBay. Being a 1989, looks like time to replace it.
