I replaced my clock spring a couple of months ago (went OK).
While I was at it, I thought I would check out my Ignition tumbler irritation (it would turn around without the key in but not start). I removed the tumbler. It was worn, so I re-installed it after I put all of the little pieces that fell apart back together.) After re-installing the tumbler, the switch worked fine turning to ON and START, but would not turn to ACC. Installed new Motorcraft tumbler.....same M*(&^ problem. Any body know why and how to fix?
