well as most of u know the state of washington is on fire. worked 110 hrs last week so that gives me an excuse to have some fun with the truck finally. i plan on getting rosewood stage 2's and plan on putting back on the stock exhaust housing on the turbo. is that necessary? also adding a water meth kit. let me hear your thoughts about runnning stage 2's with a stock turbo. wish i had enough for a turbo too but not at this point in time. i dont do much towing but i know with the new injectors i will have to watch the egts closely
The nice thing is that you already have all the supporting mods except the turbo so you are in better shape than most. Honestly I think I would call Jim and tell him what you want to do with the truck and see what he recommends. I notice people want the stage 2s and the big fuel but end up fighting EGTs and it seems to be more of a headache than it is worth. He has several options and can help you get what will work best for you
With stage 2 u should consider a bigger turbo, unless u tame them down with a tune. It also wont be a bad idea to put your stock exhaust housing back for lowering to an extent your egt
I'm hoping with the water/meth kit it won't be too much of a fight. But good idea about calling jim and talking about options. Future plans are to upgrade the turbo but God only knows when that will happen. Lol
Even with the water your going to fight egt's. Some fight them with the turbo and water. However if your not pulling The stock turbo May last a while. Just watch your boost.
It'll be big fun! Bill had 2s in his green truck and it was fun. You will for sure need a "good" clutch lol. As other have said keep watch on egt And be easy on that poor turbo.
You should do some hybrids then go for a 468...go big or go home!! Lol
It does sound like they might be more of a headache then what's it's worth. What turbo does the best with stage 2's?
Do I have to retain the split shot injector Or can I go single shot. Is one better than the other?

Get single shots and have it retuned for them. No reason to hold onto our split shots IMO.
Been doin a lot of reading. What about the d66 with stock injectors? Would that be a better safer route to go. Then later do stage 2's. Im just trying to avoid egt hell.
Im doing stage 1's because of high egt's. Jim changed my stage II's to ones. I'm tired of fighting high egt's. On my old mile I put a D66 on it and thought it was a waste of money.

Great now all my ideas are getting shot down. Ha ha ha.
