I'm goin to move the new ones from the back to the front. The back ones are easier to get to. That way I can put the a/c and alternator brackets back on and start it up. When the new bolts get here it will be easy to change them out.
ITS ALIVE!!! After 3-20 second cranking sessions. It fired up. I let her run for about 10 min. Shut it off. Waited a few. Then went to start back up and it was about 5 seconds of cranking and it fired up again. Let it run for another 10. Grabbing some grub then goin to check my oil level in the hpop res and engine. Taking it for a drive this afternoon or evening. Thanks for all the help and advice.
I had about 8 codes when we did mine last week. A lot of those are from disconnecting and reconnecting all of the sensors. If you can clear them, go ahead and then see if they return. How does it run? Mine was like a new truck right off the first fire up. Did you do a new HPOP too?
I have a t-500 for a while. But ya it idles and sounds like a new truck. Took it for a drive. And the engine sound inside was way smoother and quieter. When it hits 15psi it flat out takes off!!! That's in my 80hp economy tune lol. And I have a known boost leak where the spider and turbo come together. I have a Devils own water meth kit that I am getting from a buddy at work that I will be installing soon too
Nothing better than that feeling after she fires up . I remember when i did all the mods to my truck, when i took her for a spin, the grin on my face did not go away for days. Enjoy your "New Truck" and have fun
I myself swapped out the Stage-2's in my '96 and went with some 200/30% because I was tired of how smoky they were.
So far the small Hybrids are pretty impressive.
Jim, You are happy with the smaller hybrids? the 238/100s I bought from you a few years back, were very smokey, and made towing difficult. Very fun to drive though...
what are the smallest hybrids you have ever made? the 2.5 200/30s?
