You are correct, two's didn't work. In a couple weeks I'll report how the ones do.

Forgot to mention the s366 sits right at 20psi on a stock tune without water, water it hits 25psi. Any other tune pegs my 35psi gauge, but I really don't need that much HP when towing to be honest. Does great even in a stock tune. Only time it can afford to be turned up is on steep grades or mountain towing, but we still have a tuning issue to solve this winter when I send it back into DP.

That's a great way to think about it. LEARNING Well I guess only time will tell with these stage 1's Comin. I quickly saw how 2's were WAY TOOO much for me and what I do. Kinda jumped the gun on the post. Did a little reasing and research but not much before hand. Thanks for all the awesome help and info. You guys on this forum are awesome. THANKS. Will be posting pics and vids when this thing gets rolling.

I have not dynoed my own truck yet, but from what I have seen some customers run I expect the 200/30% to be around 420 hp, on the same dyno where my Stage-2's were 396.

I love my 38R with them, but if you want to go to an S series, a 3XX will do just fine.

Good Deal! I originally wanted stage 2s as well, Jim talked me out of them for what I was trying to do. I am so glad he did!

Jim,what are your thoughts on injector size for s400 series turbo? I have seen many say minimum250cc injector ..thoughts? My 225s are plenty smokey before it lights and is a heavy haze once lit as far as I can see...that's not real well as I'm dealing with keeping everything in front in check lol

I'd say some size of Hybrid, a lot depends on the size of S400, too, and having very good tuning.

Thanks for the info Jim. I'm sure turbo selection is highly dependent on how the truck is used.

I have to say honestly I am pretty happy with my 468 and non hybrids. I still think tuning is my downfall at this point. And the trans lol

Quick question. Is it mandatory to remove the glow plugs? I just replaced them a little over a year ago.

Making some progress. Got the driver side all out. Put riffraff high flow banjo bolts in on the rear of the motor.

With that guy helping you, you will not need anything else!

It helps if they are out to turn the engine over to get the oil out of the cylinders.

I went ahead and pulled the GP's. Got all 8 injectors out, and things went real smooth. I left the plug on the hpop out and my oil pan plug out along with the oil galley plugs. Goin to call it a night and tomorrow I will suck the cylinders out and crank the Motor over a few times. I was amazed at how much oil was in the oil rails.

The oil rail plugs almost looked like torques head bolts

I'm trying to turn the motor over by hand (turning clockwise) and it just springs back. I'm getting a good 90* of throw.
