I will say mine has been pretty darn good at holding flashlights, bolts, bringing tools and beers, and of course sammiches. She has become a hell of a parts runner now too. It really does make the job go much quicker. Are they entertained.... I doubt it, until they get the credit card and make a few pit stops on the way to the parts store.

Then you say 'where have you been' and she gets all pissed off and says to go get the parts yourself!

There you go, I have to give my wife credit for that also. She pretends to be interested and understand, I guess that's half the battle.

That's what we do to them. Ha ha ha

Well made some progress today. Got the injectors in and torqued town. Put the oil spouts on and then cranked the motor over to get any excess oil out of the glow plug holes. Did about 3 turns by hand then bumped the starter and held it for a turns. Put the glow plugs in and bumped it some more Until oil came out of the oil rail. got the valve covers on and now I'm waiting for my high flow banjo bolts to get here. I need the 2 in the front. Got the rear ones done. They were supposed to be here today but usps here sucks. They r a bunch of deadbeats. I also have a new o ring coming between the spider and the turbo.

I was thinking the same thing
Just keep it to a minimum and you will be good. Take your time and don't get in a hurry, double check everything.

I had about 6 beers in the 6 hours it took us to do the Hpop and Injectors. It was a good pace. Kept the thirst down and the motivation up!

Don't let those fittings delay things. Take out the stock ones, drill them out, debur and reinstall.
I can't count how many I have done, for only minutes worth of work.
