Post 99 Expedition won't start

I have a 99 Expedition that won't start. I have checked the fuel pressure and spark and get both. I have tried starting fluid and it attempts to start but won't stay running. The fuel pump is a couple years old and the plugs a less than a year.

Then your next step is a compression test.

Is there anyway do that without the proper tools. I don't have the tools or money to have it done.

What does that actually mean?

What is the THEFT light doing during a starting attempt?

It stays off. It doesn't blink.

Check you local auto parts store, most have a loan-a-tool program. Basically you pay for the (used) tool and you get a 100% refund when you return it. If so get yourself a compression tester.

Bad coil pak/s, dirty air filter or MAF sensor, bad/old plugs, dirty fuel filter, or bad pcv rubber elbow/vacuum leak.
Any codes?
