I know all the vin info besides the trans code FB? I know F is a T98 but not sure what the B is? Also no cab code but there is a DSO so a little confused on that, info? Truck may have been a cab and chassis originally.
Ya got a 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive. The F is T98 B is for front axle ratio,4.55/ rear is 4.56. was built in KC with 292. ND may have insite on dso. Someone orderd it/ not out of dealer stock
3378 = Domestic Special Order number, something 'special' was installed on the truck after it left the assembly line that was not an RPO (Regular Production Order).
What was special is impossible to determine, as FoMoCo THREW AWAY all the records decades ago.
1961/66: With one exception, there is no way to determine by codes in the VIN or stamped on the Warranty Plate if these trucks were sold as a Cab & Chassis, or with a Flareside or Styleside bed.
1963: Uni body styles noted on Warranty Plate as 66A (Standard Cab) or 66B (Custom Cab).
