BS'ing over on Rodney's thread, I mentioned earlier about perhaps smoking a couple of briskets to bring up if I get to come. I could either do sliced, or chopped. For quality a couple days after coming off of the smoker though, chopped is likely the best idea, and we can use it to make chopped beef sammies or stuffed baked taters. We would still need bread or taters and whatever sides though. Two chopped briskets will take up most of the cooler space I would have with me, plus have to add ice repeatedly for a two day drive up.

Glad you are getting rain.
Yes......I was thinking about you doing the Brisket for a Dinner. We can add to that from local efforts........
I make a Fantastic, world famous spaghetti sauce that is to die for.......I could do that for another evening meal........???
I gotta stop thinking about food right now. My diet is progressing very well, but I keep thinking about and talking about all of this delicious food, and I want to raid the fridge. Good thing I emptied it before starting the diet! I would love a big plate of brisket spaghetti right now.
Dave.......I hope you are "ok" with the feelings expressed.
We are a "tight" group.......
It's a great group. And I'm fine with everything. I enjoy tight nit groups especially ones with a common outlook. Fords, camping, military, farming, etc.
will definitely help and be there.
Have a great morning, must get going dogs want out.
