So, it shouldn't cost me more than $150 for meats, and then of course I will have to buy a nice large cooler to keep them until time to eat....This is worse than you guys helping me accessorize Bear.
I am confused.........What exactly is the problem........
Sam, in my new place, I am close enough to two different HEB's, that I have started shopping there almost exclusively - except for quick runs for a couple of items, as either one is still 30 miles away. I'll look for them next time I am at HEB.
I have a similar one made by Thermos for holding long-necks. The only problem I see, is that they still only hold one beer at a time. When spending the whole day out on the tractor, I'll need more than A beer.
rtic also makes stuff similar to Yeti, but at 1/2 the price. I love my drink cups that keep stuff cold and don't sweat..
Sam, funny you mentioned these. My wife has a Yeti and I bought her an RTIC as well, then a co-worker had a Members Mark one from Sam's. So we took all three and put the same amount of ice and water in them and set them outside at work week before last, to see what they would do. NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL!! All three still had cold water at the end of the day. BUT, the RTIC and MM have a completely spill proof lid that the YETI doesn't. However, the Yeti has a smaller base that fits standard cup holders better. All three hold the same amount, around 30 oz.. At Sam's, when you can find them, they are 2 for $19.99!!!

thats what the cooler is for of course!.. transitional device to the cozie!.
I gave up on koozies years ago. Not because they didn't work well but rather because the can or bottle was always empty LONG before it had a chance to warm up. The extra step of transferring it to the next was taking up valuable sipping time...

great deal!..
the one my friend has from HEB has the straw in the middle, with a flip down clasp that closes the drinking slot, but still allows the straw..
the rtic (and maybe the yeti) have a slightly enlarged slot.. but most of it still open.
my drink holder console is gonna be full on the trip!
