Out of my own stupidity and should have followed my gut I have bent my drive shaft about a couple months ago. Its not super bad but i know its putting stress on my u-joints and soon ill be able to afford to finally fix it. Finding the correct part online is becoming a chore and I dont have the part number. From my experience part numbers can vary per box box stores so I am looking for the actual FORD part number. OR if you know anyone that is selling one please send them my way. I just want to get the part number so it makes my life a lot easier or buy the part from someone. Please dont recommend ebay to me, me and their payment system never got along so i gave up on it years ago.
Truck is a 83 F150 standard cab long bed

Manual tranny 4 speed (4th overdrive)
The Ford catalog says it mostly depends on your rear axle ratio...
I see six different possible part numbers... if you have a 2.47 or 3.08 gear ration, ignore the part numbers with black stars as they are obsolete (BUT you can sometimes find obsolete versions at places that sell NOS stuff).
"r/b" = "replaced by"
e.g. E7TZ-4602-U was superseded (replaced) by F0TZ-4602-B
There is one entry in that list that doesn't specify a gear ratio... so what does it fit? No idea...
It looks like there were two different yokes used, too.
It's no wonder you're having a hard time trying to find this stuff online, lots of possibilities... good luck with that...
