So I've had this tick tick noise but I can only really hear it when I'm parked adjacent to a wall, so it reflects back. It does this idling in Park. Anyone else notice this? I wonder if it might be a tiny exhaust leak?

Injectors sound like that. Entirely normal.

 

Normal, ok - strange that I've never heard it in other fuel injected vehicles.

 

Depends on the type of injector and how it is packaged. For example, most people don't realize that a lot of the clatter noise from a diesel is injectors. You've heard injector noise before, you just may have not known what it was.

 

If an ecoboost then it's no doubt the injectors.
