Hey guys so my battery light has been on for a while now and can't get it to shut off. I took the battery out of it to put in another vehicle temporarily and put it back in and ever sense the battery light has been on I tried tightening the connections as much as I could I've tried cleaning the posts and everything but still nothin and the alternator is fairly new and my volt gauge seems pretty normal I haven't had the chance to put my multi meter on it yet I'm gonna try that tomorrow

 

After you confirm that its charging, checkthe brown wire at the small alt plug, assuming you have
a newer style alt with an internal regulator.
