Battery light on
Hi Guys, When I'm at a stop light my battery light is out and and my gauge is normal, when I push the gas driving the battery light comes and and my gauge goes to 18, what is causing this battery or alternator? How long can I drive like this? Can I drive at night until I get an alternator or battery?

I recall a simialr thread posted recently that was the same or similar subject. The conclusion there was alternator (voltage regulator). I think it should be replaced as soon as reasonably possible, given the risk to sensitive electrobinc equipment.
