Hey guys, anyone hear of Northwest auto wire harness. A buddy of mine gave a brand new harness cause he got a painless one for his bronco. Will this harness work with my 56 f100? It looks like a basic harness with 8 fused circuit.
From I can gather they are no longer in business. Seems like they were in the Bronco market and provided a barebones setup for the off-roaders. 8 circuits are a bit light for most applications today...you will have to decide if that is enough for you. I use a 22 circuit system in my 56 F100 but I do like more of the "high-tech" features.
That's what I kind of came up with them being out of business, I don't plan on having very much extra maybe just a stereo and heater.
Thanks for the response
I think you would be ahead buying a universal harness from a quality source like Easy wiring www.easywiring.com or Speedway Free Shipping @ Speedway Motors, The Racing and Rodding Specialists that don't think their wire is gold rather than copper like Paininthewallet. Just avoid the Chinese made ones sold by "Keep it Clean", "Johnny Law" or no name ebay sellers. Ford was not consistent in their color coding so it might be a big challenge figuring what goes where and having to adjust the cut to fit Bronco wire lengths to work being more work than it's worth. Sometimes free is the most expensive way to go.
