Low coolant temp
Going fishing here to see if anyone else has had this issue. Daily I monitor temps with a scangauge2. Oil 196 coolant 193. Today coolant 175 to 179. 182 WOT. Oil 195. This happens every year. I have changed my thermostat every year for the past 4. All ford thermos. Is anyone else having this issue? Also at 65mph FSS 580_610. What else could cause this?

I've got the same issue as you, just haven't changed it every year. Idea a camper puller, so mileage isn't that important.

Several of us have been down that road with the stock stat. 3 stock ones myself. Going off the suspicion that the stat was not closing completely I drilled the housing pin hole slightly deeper. (.040 deep[er with mine) For the first time the stock stat ran the 192-3 desired. I suggest if you want to run stock then drill the pin hole just enough to clean up the bottom on the hole. I am certain this will fix your problem. I have one set up and ready to roll, but am one of those running the 200 stat as mileage and response is much better. btw - my temp towing runs the same with the 200 as with the stock 192.
