Mine was right at 49,500 sticker. There was a 5500 rebate when i was looking, after a couple of calls back and forth, i had looked at one at another dealer with the same package except the 5.0, so this dealer cut to the chase and dropped to 40,500. Then we hammered out what they were going to give me for trade, and we came to a dam good agreement!

Does anybody have a 2.7L? I was designing my truck in my head and decided I want the standard (base) cab, 6.5' bed (I assume this is a short-wheelbase truck) and 2.7L EB. I figure this will be the lightest new F-150 you can get and one of the most powerful. For this reason I also would get limited slip.

Getting 4x4 plus 6.5' bed = no 2.7L EB. You then need to get the V8, or the 3.5L EB.

The 2.7L has 325hp @ 5750rpm/375tq @ 3000rpm
compared to
The 3.5L has 365hp @ 5000rpm/420tq @ 2500rpm

as you can see the 3.5L tq comes in sooner as well does the hp, not to mention is has more of both. so why the 2.7L? are you going for less cost?
