From what I have been told in the small engine world of things like dirtbikes is ATF is very bad in the combustion chamber. The ATF contains very tiny metal particles that are used in the gear box to help "plate" the gear faces saving wear on them. When a seal on the crank starts to leak it allows ATF to seep in and the static electricity causes it to build up most often on the exaughst port bridge. This causes accelerated wear of the piston and bridge. I have seen this first hand on my bikes. Now I have never had anyone 100% verify that ATF has these metal flakes in them but I lean towards the more cautious side of things.

I hope this is not off thread, but I've been wanting to get some Power Service Diesel Kleen and have been unable to locate it locally (not even Wal Mart). Has anyone used an online source before for this product?
