Trunk won't lock

The lock on my trunk will not lock, either with the central locking or the key. The key turns in the lock but does not engage the lock.

Any Ex owners have this issue?

Mine is a 2001 V10 XLT if that helps.

Mine was the same way. The lock cylinder was corroded and frozen. I took it out and soaked in in PB blaster and got it to work. Reinstalled it and all has been good.

I didn't even take mine out. I pushed on the lever with a screwdriver and it moved. I soaked it with PB Blaster and worked it back and forth a bunch and now it works.
